MOVE OUT EDUCATION

Security Deposits, Inspections, and Timely Reconciliation

Move-outs can be stressful, but a streamlined security deposit reconciliation process protects your property from legal liability and financial loss. This interactive, in-person workshop walks you through the entire security deposit lifecycle, from the final walk through to cutting the refund check.

Participants will gain experience using our standard Deposit Accounting Form T-15 to confidently assess property damage, calculate fair deductions, and meet strict legal deadlines.

Other forms will be discussed include MT-1, MT-2, T-12, T-13, T-16. Bring your Forms Manual or BUY ONE at the class (checks only please).

Instructor - Michele Hoak

 

Teacher Bio - Michele Hoak - With over 20 years of experience in property management and more than 28 years as a contractor, I bring extensive hands-on knowledge and leadership to every project I take on. Throughout my career, I have developed a strong understanding of both the operational and construction sides of the housing industry. For the past 12 years, I have proudly served with the Southern Oregon Rental Owners Association (SOROA) in a variety of roles, including Board Member, Board President, and Office Administrator. My dedication to SOROA reflects my passion for supporting rental owners and strengthening our local housing community.


 

This will be an IN-PERSON meeting only.
